The picture doesn't do the piece justice. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the figure. It was a bit bigger than I expected, and the detailing was good--not great. The statue has some weight to it, and certainly does not feel cheap. My only complaint is that the etching could be a little better. My son is a big fan of the memorial statue and this gift to him was well-received. For the price, it's quite worth it.

This beautifully crafted and lifelike replica of the Lincoln Monument is a must-have for any political junkie and/or historical enthusiast.It's no exaggeration to say that when I'm feeling wayward I gaze upon the great man and I summon the inspiration, courage and wisdom that I need to carry on. My family and I traveled several times to Maryland to visit family. And I was stationed at the U S Navy hospital in Bethesda and walked around all the monuments. The Lincoln memorial always amaze me. From a young boy to adulthood, this monument is my favorite!!

We purchased this statue for my son's class project of building Lincoln Memorial. It worked perfectly. The statue is sturdy and heavier than I thought it would be with a felt lining on the bottom. It could definitely be suitable for a collector's item.
