Edit: Changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. This does work well once your stomach gets used to it. The labeling really needs to give better warning of potentially extreme nausea and vomiting. I started opening the capsules and taking a little at a time until my gut was accustomed to it. Now I can do a full capsule. If I had known, I would have started on another product with less potency and taken 2 a day.Previous review: About a half hour after taking one of these with breakfast, I was sick to my stomach and vomiting. Horse chestnut is toxic if not properly processed, so clearly their quality control needs work. Very disappointing and scary!

My husband has had chronic leg pain that has not yet been diagnosed. He was first told it was neuropathy and then a circulatory issue. Neither proved to be true after testing. He started taking the horse chestnut about a month ago and thinks it is helping to decrease the pain a little. At this point, any relief is better than nothing. We understand that the longer you take it, the more effective it is. Sure hope so!

take with food and you will be happy with this supplement. Otherwise it will give you an upset stomach. Does a good job with water weight like a natural diuretic instead of all of those chemicals and harsh things that stress your kidneys further

My MD told me to get some of this for my edema (swelling) of feet & legs & this was a reorder of that same medication as it is working extremely well for me. Before I started taking it, I was wearing sandals & had to let the straps out as far as they would go. I've been on this med now for about 1 & 1/2 months & have had to tighten up the straps some 3 holes...and for the first time in quite awhile, I can see the tendon coming from the big toe on both feet. It most certainly works for me! (And I'm an R.N. so not easily fooled.)
