Q: Can you bake your pizza right on this mat?

No you can't. I'll roll out my dough to the size I need then place a piece of parchment paper on top then flip it over so the paper is underneath. This helps with transferring the pizza from the pizza peel to the oven.

Q: Can you cut off pieces of dough if careful, without damaging mat?

I use a dough scraper but just cut straight down. I would not "saw" on it. Great product for making big crusts.

Q: Do you have to flour the mat to roll out dough?

Well.......you don't have to.....but the dough will stick if you don't use something. With some doughs you can use oil.

Q: One person said some of the color was coming off when they washed it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have had the Pizzacraft rolling mat for about three years and haven’t used it much. I have never used anything other than warm water and mild dishwashing soap to clean it. Lately, the red color has started to wipe off. I’m now hesitant to use it. I agree there is a problem with the color coming off
