Try these mittens FIRST and you will be impressed!
Best mittens for babies! My daughter in law and I have attempted to find the "perfect" mittens to prevent facial scratching by babies. We have been successful in finding lots of cute infant mittens made by some of the big name baby clothing manufacturers. The big name brand manufacturers' mittens simply do not work well. They are often made with a small elastic band that is supposed to keep the mittens on newborns' hands.I purchased the "Mittens by Nurses Choice because they looked different that others. They also had good customer reviews. Needless to say, these mittens really do work! They are a little thicker than other mittens and actually stay on the baby's hands! My best endorsement is the fact that my daughter in law called and asked me to order another set for her as well as to include as part of baby shower gifts.New moms who try these mittens will be impressed with the quality of them.

Soft like Cotton
It’s too soft and I really like the cotton like texture of it!

Non slip, soft, baby mittens
Those baby mittens you can buy never work, so I would just use socks. I thought these were very similar to socks and was excited to see if they worked. The order was delivered quickly and the mittens did not fall off. They are very soft and have a good stretch to easily slip on babies hand. They are about the same thickness as socks and not nearly as thin as the common baby mittens.

Tiny and short lived
I thought I would need these for the hospital and winter etc but hardly ever used them. They are sooooo tiny that a newborn will only get the chance to wear them maybe once or twice before they're too small. You definitely only need one pair, maybe two... this big bag was excessive and wasteful for one baby

Good mittens, good parents
Newborn babies often scratch their faces, and sometimes wake themselves up at night doing this. Then you feel like a bad parent because your baby's face is scratched up and red. :( These newborn mittens were a good price, and didn't fall off the baby's wrist like some other brands we tried. They are thick sock-like material with stretch to them. Comfortable, and roomy enough for our baby's long fingers. You'll want to clean baby's hands and let them air out, change the mittens frequently because babies chew on the mittens and that can create stinky hands. Plus it's good for their hands to be exposed so they can learn about their environment in tactile ways. We stopped needing mittens at about 7- 8 weeks. I wish the hospital gave these mittens out to new parents.
