Stanley 11-041 Utility Replacement Blade

The blades are great.

I had a utility knife for years that uses the blade. The only thing i will say is it’s too expensive for 1 blade, but since I love the knife I bought it as I couldn’t find it anywhere in the stores.

Rather high priced but really sharp and fits the Stanley folding pocket knife like a glove. These blades may be sharpened a few times if you have some very fine lapping stones or diamond plate finishing stones.

These replacement blades are great. They are super sharp, and easy to change. The price is very reasonable. My only complaint is these blades remind me of razor blades. They are very sharp but quickly lose that sharpness. Not to say they get dull very quickly, but they do not keep that razor sharpness they start out with.

Great blades. When working in quarries I used this for my powder knife, (cutting dynamite or primer cord) and anyone with explosives certs, can get what I'm saying as utility knives dull quickly. When was called to serve country this blade/s came with me along with Gerber of course and you don't know what this girl has seen and the original one I got 28 years ago but can say this has helped ALOT in Army and Civilian life.

Razor Sharp out of the box, and can be kept that was for some time to come with a little effort. The blade that came with it over 18 months ago is still very usable and sharp with many sharpening left in it. But, having more than one is a good thing.

This is the replacement blade tor a knife I love, because of its slim, light, design and extra long blade to reach into hard places. Stanley seems to always keep a high quality in their tool offerings, and as a craftsman I appreciate that.
