So these did manage to get my electronic devices working again no worries. But than when I stopped and took a second look at the packaging I began to question my true purpose in life and I came to the conclusion that they cant taste that bitter. Fellas, let me tell you these here are about as bitter as your old lady when she finds you ate a large Dairy Queen blizzard and didn't even stop to think to bring her home a small cheesecake something or other, I am telling you its bad. But the batteries are great my tire guage is still going strong and we are on our second month now.

I chose these batteries because of the bitter coating. Button batteries are dangerous around kids. While most of my kids are past the stage where they are likely to put a better in their mouth, you can never be too careful. These have a bitter coating, making it more likely that a kid would just spit them out if they somehow got a hole of one. It was this feature in particular that made me choose these batteries over any others on the market.
