BEST PRICE/VALUE!
I spent several months of trying different binoculars and reading any review I could find. These were the perfect fit for my needs and best price/value for me. Sure you can spend a lot more for the very top end binoculars, but most people wouldn’t notice the difference unless you are an bino aficionado. Very stable image makes a huge difference for those who don’t have a steady hand. Note that the eyecup covers are terrible and easily fall off. I discovered that the following eye guards fit perfectly, and can also be attached to your neck strap preventing them from getting lost; 40.7-42mm Binocular Rainguard/Eyepiece/Eyecup Cover/Dustguard/Eye Guard Cap Rubber Black, 40.7-42RG. Hope this helps, it took several orders until I got the perfect fit. :)

I'm still not sure if I like it and there is no owner's manual in the box.
This was a Christmas gift from my husband and it's not one of the ones I researched. It's very well made, lightweight, and comfortable to hold. We are bird watchers and have been wanting binoculars with image stabilization for a long time. I'm disappointed there was no instruction manual in the box as I like to know everything about a product I buy, like, how to care for it, what not to do/not do. The SigSauer website only has a download for the ZULU3/5/7/9 and the ZULU6 isn't like those. There's a ring on the right eyepiece with a +/- and I'm not sure what it's for. The image stabilization doesn't work like I thought it would. It bobbles around after any movement and takes longer than I expected to finally stabilize. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but it sometimes makes me a little dizzy.I would prefer if the lens caps were attached to the binoculars to prevent losing them. It's obviously a very well made product but I would've chosen a different one.

Great Binos
Replaced 15 yr old Canon's that had the rubber casing degrade--effected all Canons for years but Canon declines responsibility or repair. Sig Sauer guarantees these for life, regardless of passing to another owner. Fit well in one's hands, outstanding stabilization. Buy these, don't bother w other brands, esp Canon.

These are the binoculars of the future!
I received the Sig Sauer Zulu 6 10x30 binoculars and I have to say these are the binoculars of the future! They are much smaller and lighter than the Canon 10x30 IS II, weighing only 18 oz. on my postal scale. Sig Sauer keeps the weight and size down by keeping the objective lenses almost right next to each other, so there is none of the wasted space and added weight like the Canon's. The tiny CR123 battery is on the side. These make the Canon's seem like a prehistoric overweight pig! These binoculars are like something Captain Kirk would use! Having HD glass the optics are much better than any of the Canon IS binoculars I have tried and outside of a smaller FOV these are very close to Canon 10x42 IS-L optically at less than 1/2 the weight. They have almost no CA, which is a weak spot of the regular Canon's, and they are much brighter and have much better contrast. Even though the FOV is only 5.2 degrees, for some reason it does not feel narrow at all, and it is sharp right to the edge. The HD glass in these must be high quality because they literally kill the Canon's. Once you use these, you will not want to go back to the Canon's. I have sold all my Canon's for these. These take one small CR123 lithium battery that will supposedly last for days because it has a switch that keeps the IS on for 5 minutes and then shuts it off, so the battery doesn't drain. The eye cups have three click stops, and they are very comfortable versus the rubber ones on most of the Canon's and the extremely uncomfortable hard plastic eye cups on the Canon 10x42 IS-L. The IS is also better on these, with less shaking and none of the artifacts that the Canon's have. I paid $600 for mine on eBay through Camp Saver after asking them for a discount, so they are not much more than the Canon 10x30 IS II.The armour on these is also excellent, and I doubt it will melt like the Canon's. Even though they are an unusual shape, they hang flat against your chest. I am really impressed with these Sig Sauer Zulu 6 10x30 and the Sig Sauer Zulu 6 16x42 binoculars.I think they could be the IS binocular you have been wishing for. They will put any regular 10x30 or 10x42 binocular to shame in seeing detail, and now the optics are very close to even the alpha level binoculars. I actually prefer the steady view through these to my NL 10x42's, and they are 1/2 the weight and 1/5 the cost!

Binoculars obvious have been opened!
No manual, or warranty cards! Binoculars do look just like new and I’m going to keep them…still disappointed

Excellent quality, works quite well
Just got these yesterday and have not taken on a boat yet, but feel they work so well would leave intial impressions.-Very bright, clear image across the field.-Easy to adjust eye relief. Rotating eyepieces for intraoccular is a little tight, but assume that is due to the IPX4 rating.-engaging motion correction is very quick (around a second).-close focus distance is around 5ft (not the 5m in the specs).-Very small and compact, about the same size as a regular 10 x 30 binocular we have (Nikon)-Front objectives are recessed with rubber protection (no threads).-overall an excellent stabilized binocular at a great price.
