Update: Seller sent replacement Stopped working
Update: seller sent upgraded replacement. They do stand behind their product. I recommend! This product was okay. The app freezes a lot and has trouble staying connected even within 20 ft. It stopped working last month for no reason.

Great if your dog isn't too stubborn and a vibration is enough to deter
I purchased 2 types of these the shock one and one without. These have been great and have immediately stopped my guys from barking when I'm not home (loud enough for people to hear). They still bark but it's more of a huff as to not set the collar off. It's only a bandaid solution however I haven't used the shock function yet I just use the voice recorded command and the vibration which luckily is enough for my 2. I would not recommend utilising the shock function when you are not home as my dogs collar does warn him quite often just from shaking his head, it's a little unfortunate but my girl doesn't have any issues. As you can see in my pic I have made an improvement to my girls collar it's just a stretchy cat collar instead for comfort. I haven't done it to my boys collar because he has the 2 prongs at the end and I'm not sure if it will work yet...While I don't have a use for the use of the shock or stim I may utilise it in the future if it is up to standard. This would be the only way to actually fix the barking however for anyone reading once your dog associates the collar with receiving the correction it won't do much to stop the behaviour when the collar is off. I just recommend this purely for your general barking dog that isn't very stubborn.

Does (nearly) nothing.
Purchased two collars for my two very loud dogs. Both collars behave exactly alike, which is to say they don't work really at all. Easy to install the app and connect to the collars via bluetooth. Took pics of the dogs for the app, which is a cute feature, and tested both collars with the app - all good.(this is where it falls apart). The collars' bluetooth range is about two feet. Other bluetooth devices work perfectly at long range with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Verified batteries are fully charged on both collars. Once you connect to the collar (usually by holding the collar in your hand next to your phone) everything works as it should. Put it on the dog and take a step back, and suddenly you're too far away to connect. Garbage. But ok, at least the 'passive vibration in response to barking' feature should work, right? I turned the sensitivity all the way down to 60Db, and no sound can trigger the vibrate. There's a helpful sound meter built into the app, which shows my dogs bark at 80 and 95+ Db respectively (turns out even I can bark over 60Db...) but the collars never trigger. Garbage. In short, i wanted these collars to do two things and they do zero things. Battery life is great. turns out doing nothing doesn't use a lot of battery. Garbage.

Did not include remote, wasn't waterproof. Lasted 3 months.
So, we have a very active Aussie Cattle mix who is prone to the occasional bout of shriek-barking that makes us all want to leave the house and never come back. In an effort to spare ourselves, and our neighbors, we investigated bark collar options and decided on this one because of the reviews. It was delivered promptly, and we set it up and let it go to work.Upon initial setup, I noticed it was already set up for the previous owner. I should have taken this as a sign and returned it then, but I forged on. The setup is simply downloading the app and connecting the Bluetooth. I see that some reviewers mention a remote, ours did not come with one. The phone app was updated two weeks ago to include a way to use it from your device, but it isn't very convenient if you need to use your phone for other things because you have to keep switching between the apps and if your dog wanders out of range then you have to restart the app to reconnect the Bluetooth.Usage. So, it offers several combinations of vibrate, beep, shock, with various volumes and intensities. Our dog was undeterred by all of these. I don't know if the collar was faulty, but even set at 99 it only provided a very mild shock to me, which might be more effective on a smaller dog, but I barely noticed it when I tested it on myself. Regarding the waterproof claim: IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. We take it off when she goes in the pool, but it rained yesterday and when she came inside the house the speaker on the collar was emitting a sound reminiscent of the sound of a dying cat. The price of the collar was almost worth the amusement our dogs had trying to locate the source of the noise. Almost. It doesn't work at all now. 0/10. I do not recommend.

Don’t waste your money
The collar takes too long to connect to the app. The phone can be right next to the collar and it still will take too long to connect. The range of connection for the remote is meant to be 50ft but it’s even less than 25ft. The barks can be detected at 60(dBs) to 160, 60 being the highest and it still won’t detect the bark sometimes. It’s not worth 30 bucks.
