NeoPixel Ring - 12 x WS2812 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers

This beautiful ring of RGB LEDs worked like a charm, and the Adafruit Neopixel library's strand test showed a complete array of colors. One warning, though: this thing is bright enough that it hurt my eyes to look at it in the dark. Even so, there was no permanent damage and those little 5050 LEDs are arrayed so that the test ran counterclockwise (the larger 16 LED ring runs clockwise with the same test).I just love this. Hands-down, great for the price.

Works really well with Arduino.

Not much else to say about these - nice units, no problems, and as I said they work perfectly with FastLED.

This was exactly what I needed for my 3D printing project. I created a Division should beacon based on a design in the game and I was able to wire this up to an Adafruit trinket and powerit by a USB rechargeable battery. It lasted for hours on one charge. I'm already planning on buying the larger version for a new project

Cool LEDs, would be great if there was a version with the controller integrated, so you just program directly.

Came on time and worked well. At first I thought they sent me a dud, but it was my wiring shorting, and I'm glad it didn't fry it. Good to read the best practices first too, using a 1mf capacitor in parallel with the voltage and 300-500 ohm resistor in series with an input from a feather board.

The amount of things that you can not only do but learn if you are just starting out with Arduino or Raspberry Pi OS is amazing, currently using it in a project with python and flask to make a website controlled lamp.
