Works just as expected!
I bought this to try and get somewhere with my second-hand Geeetech A20T. I couldn't level the bed well enough to get prints sticking, so couldn't tune the printer or anything (I think it's to do with how the previous owner stuck the Super Plate down). This 3D Touch came with everything I needed to fit it (other than an allen key, but I've got those!).The cable connects directly to the PCB on the hotend too, which is handy - I didn't need to use the extension leads it came with. The cable routes "behind" the mounting bracket on the side of the hotend (I didn't spot that at first, so had to undo and re-route), then through the cover at the back of the hotend, and just connects up. That PCB wasn't labelled, so I had to figure out which was ground on that PCB and then connecting the cables was easy.I'd manually compiled Marlin and flashed, set my XY probe offset, did the Z-offset wizard and away I went! Straight in to a multi-colour print. The print quality was a bit poor (because I haven't tuned it yet) but the first layer went down excellently after a small z-offset adjustment - so much so I struggled to get the print off the bed. I managed to ram the scraper down my finger nail, so that's a bit sore. Not blaming the probe for that though...I'm now running some calibration/tuning prints - already printing better after tweaking my e-steps, but I'm so glad I'm actually able to get things to stick to the bed now.I can feel the z-stepper motor moving as the nozzle moves around the bed, so it's definitely doing it's thing. Has made a hell of a difference.Am now tempted to buy a second one for my other printer (Sidewinder X1) which gives me a different type of levelling headache.

A good addition to your printer
The sensor helps with the continual need to have a level print bed. With automatic level calibration it makes getting a good quality print that bit easier. The sensor arrived well packaged, containing an array of fittings and cables to attach it to our printer. As it happens out A10 already came with a sensor bracket fitted, so we didn't need the supplied one.Fitting was easy, although the instructions were minimal. We guessed which way round the connections needed to be, and we were correct. For the A10 and the default Marlin 1.1.8 firmware you need to install an updated firmware to take advantage of the sensor. This updated firmware can be either downloaded and installed via Cura over USB. Or what we did was to download the source code, set the options to enable the sensor, then upload the new firmware via our laptop and the USB connection. This process could be a little daunting for those who are not used to such things, however it wasn't that bad, and there is lots of support online.

Improved product
I have used previous versions on some of my other printers and they have been fine. But this new version with the plastic pin has worked with greater accuracy. It comes with the fitting bracket bolts and an extension cable. If fitting on a Geeetech printer they have the connection at the hot end so you don’t have to use the extension so it makes a tidy installation.I knocked a star of as the instructions could be better, with links to the updated firmware if needed. But overall a good alternative to the more expensive levelling options.

Works but needs a printed part for ender 3 v2 printer
Great works well, needs a bracket printed to fit a ender3 v2

Amazing result!
Improved the quality of my prints (Geeetech A20) significantly and no longer have to spend time leveling the bed on every print, highly recommended upgrade!

Great piece of kit!
The media could not be loaded. Great addition to the A10M I’ve installed it on, works perfectly, has a great tolerance (+-0.005) and is half the price of competitors! What’s not to love about that?!Easy enough to install following Geeetechs instructions…however, I wanted Marlin 2.0 which has more features for the probe and I would recommend anyone else to do the same. This is where a little bit of knowledge of firmware editing helps get this thing set up to its full potential.I no longer have to worry about bed leveling as UBL in marlin 2.0 does it all and works perfectly with this probe.

Impressive performance at a great price.
The media could not be loaded. It comes with a short manual easy to follow for plugging it in and rest as a manual for a probe install on Klipper or marlin page. Straight forward to install with my printer running Klipper and sir pro 1.1. I wish the cable was twice the size as my printer has a large bed and 400m height cable provided is 60cm short. This should be fine on a smaller printers like Ender , Wahao i3 or a clone. It shouldn't make a difference if you know how to solder a longer extension. This is much improved spec compared to 3d touch v1 which has a metal pin.
