Comprise
The style in which Liz Issacson writes is touching, thoughtful, and full of life. The Hammond, family is rich in faith, love, caring and kindness. I really like the way characters are brought back from other books. This story of young love is sweet. The sensitive of 5 big strong cowboys is so rewarding. There's only thing I didn't like about the book and it's not the style of the written word. Hunter returns from college after 6 years, where he takes the steps to continue in the Hammond empire and then to step into the role to continue the legacy as the first grandson with his brilliant mind and somewhat self doubt and also runs into to his first love. Hunter is organized, thoughtful, caring, loving, is a very scheduled man as a means to help control his troubled soul. Molly, I find a little selfish. She doesn't give Hunter time to settle into his new role. She doesn't consider he needs time to adjust into his new lifestyle, his new role in the family business and she envied his love of his siblings or little nieces and nephews when he drops her hand to receive them. She has issues from a troubled marriage that she doesn't seek help with. She wants everything her way in Hunter's life but doesn't seem to compromise. I don't think she appreciated him or his love for his family. Even to the point of "he had better hurry up and propose so her mother can pull off three weddings in 9 months". Molly wants Hunter to give but I don't see her give or understand. The story about his grandmother was absolutely the most touching and heartfelt expression of a close family. Hunter's love for his uncles and family is brilliantly written.Again, a beautifully written book.

Hunter loved Molly his whole life and there she was what would he do about it???
Hunter came home to help with the family business. It was time for him to decide what he was going to do with his life and where he was going to fit in with his family. Molly came home too heart broken, her marriage hadn't worked out, she felt like she couldn't do it again. It was just too hard but when she saw Hunter, all the feeling for him came flooding back into her heart but would he want a broken woman and could she tell him what she had been through, could he accept it and would they be together forever???

His First Love
This was an exceptional and intriguing analysis of a young love that endures time and trials of life. Hunter has a blessed/cursed life with oodles of money and a terrible mother and a family that is so loving; caring and true and supremely intelligent. Molly has always loved Hunter and he, her but their families feel they need to grow up from 11 yr. olds. When at 25 they finally reconnect, they have to figure out what is most important in their lives together. Your storytelling skills wraps them together with captivating storyline, LOVE, faith, family and God!!!!! Really enjoyed this book immensely!!!!

Ivory Peaks - Gonna be awesome
I've written many reviews for books written by Liz Issacson and never get tired of doing so. I love her stories and if this 1st book in the new Ivory Peaks Series is an example of those to come...I can't wait. I felt like I was right there with Hunter and Molly, knowing how they each were feeling, understanding the issues which confronted them in their relationship. I'm so happy for both of them finally deciding to go for it. I recommend this story and I don't think you'll be disappointed in getting it and reading it. CONGRATS again to Liz. You write like your heart is an opened book...such depth of love and care for each of your characters.

A new chapter for the Hammond family
This book was book was at times a sweet romance and at times heart wrenching as the family lost their matriarch, and Hunter and Molly struggled to overcome past hurts and find their future. I enjoy all of Liz's books and the family dynamics as they rely on their faith and each other to face challenges. That said, the Hammonds are my least favorite of all the series with Colton having two females (not his wife) that he considers his "best friends in the whole world", and Wes telling Hunter to "kiss as many girls as he can" with no thought whatsoever as to how many girls he hurts by doing this. I wonder if he will feel the same way when his daughter begins dating. Both Hunter and Molly have issues with selfishness, but in the end they both realize that marriage is not all about them, but the willingness to sacrifice for each other. They both make the decision to put the other first, and to work at making their relationship a success. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Good Christian romance
I love all of this author’s books. Other than the fact they are all billionaires they have down to earth challenges. I love that they are Christian and most do ask God for direction. I wish that their prayers would stop using thee and thy as it always throws me and sounds superficial. I feel like God can definitely love and understand me when I talk to him with my real speech. That is really my only complaint. Thank you for great Christian books.

Disappointed
I was so disappointed in Hunter~ poor guy,he had been teased as a child because of his family’s money, his genius intelligence and his extraordinary good looks! He has a huge burden of handling his 2 billion dollars inheritance ,too. I realize an alcoholic mom was a tough one,but his Dad rescued him from her influence. So here he is at 25,still going for weekly therapy since childhood. The entire book is his struggle with his wealth and ego! Boring! Who seriously dates Molly for 3 months or so without kissing her once???

Love can find a way!
Oh Hunter you sounded scrumptious and adorable. Molly you sound like the girl some of us are. I haven't known anyone as brilliant as Hunter is but I have known very smart people in one area and clueless in others and that is our hero. Molly is a woman that wanted the whole dream. Love, a good man to share her life with and a family but to get it isn't an easy road.based on the story I rated a five star
