Tacky Day Pack Fly Fishing Fly Box

I thought the hinge at first was kind of flimsy but held up really well.the silicon inserts are great for inserting and removing the fly's and doesn't stick to the hook like foam does when removing the flies. the magnetic closure is very nice as long as you don't overload both sides of the box too much. I had 4 wooly buggers on one side with the other side loaded with dry's and the lid had some closing with a click issue but still is a great product overall. definitely take a look.

Great fly box. Enough room for large wollybugger trout streamers. Rubber slot holds hooks well.

DONT GET ME WRONG, L LOVE TACKY BOXES. Tackys are actually the only boxes I own. However this small day box would be perfect only if it WS a little thicker and alowd you to put larger flies in. Think about it if your only going to have one box with you it should be able to hold a range of flies. Personally I’m keeping this on to keep every fly my son an I catch a fish together while hes a kid.I hope this review and photos are helpful to you.

I have several Tacky fly boxes. These are goid. Just not as good as the older ones.

It’s a nice case and the magnets that hold It closed are strong but if you put flies on both sues there’s not enough room to close it. It’s good for small day trips.
