Both my daughter-in-law and daughter gave me flower teas for Christmas. Daughter-in-law included a glass teapot - I am terrified to use it as I'm extremely clumsy and was scared of breaking the spout.I saw this one on Amazon after trawling through what seemed like dozens. It was a very, very good buy; the infuser is a good size, perfect for my Oolong whole leaf tea and it can be removed without the lid becoming ill-fitting.I do hold the lid in place while pouring (I'm a belt and braces kind of person). My blooming tea blooms beautifully.It pours perfectly, absolutely no drips.Easy to clean and because it doesn't have a long, thin spout I'm not so scared of breaking it.Definitely recommend this.

A perfect little 2 cup teapot for real tea , not that stuff in plastic bags....aha ! you thought they were paper didn't you.The infuser is nice and wide and has such tiny holes that even the smallest leaves stay inside it and yet allow full flow of water to brew your chosen desire.A true no drip spout and very easy to wash. You can even heat it on your inducty thingy if you wish.Don't tell the vicar though will you sweetie. Mwah.

This teapot looks so lovely, it has a diffusing pot with very fine holes that reaches low into the teapot so you can just make one drink. You can take it out so the tea doesn’t stew without the lid falling in. The spout is short and less liable to be damaged, and doesn’t drip. And you can put the pot on the hob to make chai tea, for example. Very happy with it!

As someone who removes the leaves from the tea bag, this suits me down to the ground. Watch the lid though as you pour, as it wants to come off and break. Had to replace one already after my mother forgot to steady with a finger. Easy to use, though you have to pour carefully initially as when full, it does want to dribble. That inconvenience is outweighed by the ease of use. I would buy another and gave 5 stars. Probably will have to, when it breaks but nothing lasts forever anyway. Buy the largest size as even then it does not hold more than two and a half cups.

I love loose tea and choose this for its wide bowl which allows the tea to brew better and is easier to clean. It’s a great size either for one who wants a couple of large mugs or two to share who don’t need so much hydration. It looks smart and is easier to store with no big spout. I found it easy to pour without dripping. Haven’t tested boiling it on stovetop but it does say you can!

They're lying when they say it's for two people as it only fills two cups halfway. Also, it leaks all over the kitchen surface no matter how you hold it.

Have recently changed to tea leaves as tea bags seem to be getting weaker, makes a proper nice brew

I really compared SO many teapots and took a LONG time to choose one. This was my choice after much deliberation AND review-reading. I couldn't be more happy with this teapot! The "squatty", more Japanese styling of the pot allows the infuser to reach nearly all the way to the bottom of the pot, making the most of your brewing time and your tea. Made of borosilicate glass, you're going to think it's too delicate to use, but let me tell you, it's plenty tough! It's also a much healthier option in teapot materials. The infuser is large, a thin but sturdy stainless steel with the absolute tiniest pin-sized holes, allowing full flow of water and plenty of space for the tea leaves to fully expand, giving you the most flavor possible. I read negatives from a few reviews regarding the shape of the handle, that it wasn't ergonomically friendly for pouring. That is hogwash. I ordered the largest size of these Kyoto pots, 36 oz, and the handle is plenty large enough and appropriately shaped to pick up and pour from this teapot. I also read other review that were negative about the spout, saying that it dripped. More hogwash. This doesn't drip any more than any other spout in the world; I haven't seen it drip on my counter yet.This can be used on the stovetop to boil your water, as well, but I have an electric quick-boil kettle (another Amazon purchase -- look for my review!), so I have no need for this feature. But if I could give this TEN stars, I would. Why? In addition to the above reasons, let me tell you... this teapot doesn't just brew your tea. This teapot makes your morning tea, your afternoon tea, and your evening tea all feel like a special treat. Like something special that you are doing for yourself today. SOMETHING in your day should feel like that! Let it be this teapot!I should note: in the photo, you will see this teapot on top of a tea warmer which is NOT INCLUDED with this purchase (it is also available on Amazon; I purchased my warmer from Teabloom). Al sacarla de la caja da un poco de miedo porque no pesa casi nada y parece de cristal superfino. Pero con el uso se quita esa primera impresión. Es resistente, además de bonita. Ya la llevo usando bastante tiempo y como nueva. El filtro también parece de muy buena calidad, no ha cogido color. Me daba la impresión de que la tapa de cristal no serviría a la hora de servir el té en las tazas, pero la verdad es que solo con poner el dedo en el pomito se sostiene. No gotea como me ha pasado con otras. Muy buen resultado.
