Perfect for automating fish tank Water Changes
Included to my Fibaro HC2 and created a custom scene to assist in doing fish tank water changes. Works a wonder and saves my having to manually turn on and off plugs while doing water changes. Well worth the money!I have a hose going to a 40l bucket and the probe on the side of the bucket in a 3D printed clip. When the water gets to the top and hits the probe, this then turns on a Fibaro plug to turn on a water pump to feed water to the Fishtank for 230 seconds then turns off the pump. This repeats until the hose is turned off.Reason for doing this is so I can pre treat the water to take out the chlorine so is safe for the fish.Call me a geek, but it works!

Great, once the drivers installed
I've only been using this for a couple of weeks, so my thoughts/views could change, but happy with it so far. Responds very quickly when water detected across the sensor. It's also accurately monitoring temperature and humidity which is good too.Caveat in all of this is that it didn't work straight out the box. You need to know how to add the new Edge drivers to Smarttthings and even then it didn't pick them up when adding the device. I reached out to the Samsung Smartthings community and after double checking I had the right Edge drivers installed I excluded the device (think it was triple pressing/long pressing the pair button which in exclusion mode through the hub options in the smartthings app) then re-added it while i was about 6 inches from the hub. This properly binded the device the hub and it then worked seamlessly! top tip for any newbies to Smarrthings, always pair as close to the hub as you can. Really makes a difference.Hope that's useful for people thinking about these.

Well made and works well. I'm using it to detect low salt in my water softener.
A simple Z Wave water sensor that just works. I had no issues in getting it to work with my Hubitat hub. It installed with the Hubitat drivers without issue and, together with a very simple routine I now get a notification when my water softener needs a fill of salt.

If you are using it to show lack of water (i.e. permanently submerged) the sensor corrodes and fails
As per title, I've had 2 of these submerged into tap water reservoirs to detect the absence of water. Both failed after a few months. Not sure whether it's because I have very soft water, but nonetheless, it should work come whatever may. Especially at the price.

Good but needs a hub
Doesn’t mention you need a hub for this. So having had to purchase a zwave hub it does work well.Have tried a few Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi type leak detectors and they are all a bit hit and miss. This one does seem to recognise a leak and then when stopped instantly returns to dry.So recommended.

Good water sensor and connected to smartthings easily.
Handy if you need a lead and probe rather than the box type for the floor. The only comment if your installing into smartthings, when you go to brand, moisture sensor chose view by model and pick the 7 pro. Not the aeotec water sensor 7 on the first page or or it will just connect as a switch, works fine and you get all the other sensors it provides...

We had to send it back
We couldn't get it to work.Just a thought to the advertising people. This unit, displayed that way, looks like a tampon. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture.😳I don't think you want that...

Sehr guter Z-WAVE Wassersensor (+Mutisensor)
Ich betreibe den AEOTEC ZWA019-C Wassersensor 7 Pro an einem AEOTEC Z-STICK 7 über ein Raspi4 mit der Home Assistant Z-WAVE JS UI Integration seit 2 Monaten ohne Probleme. Die Integration war problemlos schnell erledigt (inkl. S2 Security).

EU version...
This is EU version of the product. which means that it is operating on different frequency and is not compatible to US zwave hub.I just do not understand why it is sold on amazon US or why there is no warning about it.

So far so good.
I'm not quite sure about the product but it seems to be working well.
