KODAKPortra 160NC Professional ISO 160, 35mm, 36 Exposures, Color Negative Film (5 Roll Per Pack)

I have used Portra 160NC for three years and it is an excellent film. However, as of March 2011 there is a predecesor, doing away with NaturalColour and VividColour and it is very, very good. It is very close in colour reproduction to NC. It has a finer grain than the old P160's and there is something in the emultion which optimises it to produce a pain-free and beautiful scan.The new 160 is out there already so unless you have a reason to buy this NC, such as have half a project shot on it I would go for the new kid on the block, it's the same price.Kodak market it as the finest grain 160 available today and I am inclined to believe them. If you are using 120 and you have good control of your image making you will be able to get sharp prints at 60cm EASILY- something possible with NC but in my experience you had to be much more careful.
