Q: has anybody used this as a tow cam by chance I have a 2003 2500hd 6.0 and wanting more I also looked at the Vinci Burt kicker cam any suggestions ?

Would not be a good tow cam. You loose low end torque for high end power

Q: is this for the camshaft position sensor in front or back?

This cam is meant for a Gen 3 block. So, the sensor is in the back of the block. However, you can use any 3-bolt cam gear. The ones meant for front mounted cam sensors work as well.
