Good but...
It's a good camera, it works well to catching my dog's movement but for some reason when is related to human movement doesn't catch it as quickly as I though, when I check the notifications for movement is always about my dog but when I know that there's someone at home not always catch the person's movements... Weird very weird

Good camera that does have an sd card socket.
Contrary to the reviews on here this camera does have an sd card socket located where the power cable enters the camera at the black base of the camera, in order to gain access the unit needs to be powered off and maybe rotated, it's a little slit and easily missed. This unit works very well with a decent picture when set to HD and OK as an intercom device too as you can use it drop in on from Android/iOS devices but don't expect good smart home device integration eg: (one with displays) as it doesn't work well with Google or Amazon Alexa offerings.

Pin protection is defeated by a software bug
The YI software for Apple IOS has a bug as of July 2023.A glitch, that happens from time to time, results in the view from another camera overlapping the current view.The pin is now not required to view that other camera, the glitch defeats the pin.This is a serious security floor and demonstrates that a pin provides no encryption whatsoever.Yi now sell your data to Dozens of third parties (check the privacy in their app)Yi take down their services for a whole day. As an apology they offer a discount to their paid cloud service.Avoid these cameras at any cost

How do I activate my 1 year free storage? As advertised?
It's working great, but no SD storage. So having the 1 year subscription would be good, but not much information on have to activate this. Also, in the booklet it's says 24 hour recording free. But, again nothing being saved to the cloud.
