Don’t use it for playing the piano. It will smash a Bechstein to bits!
I loved the fact that the hammer was completely the right shape for a hammer. It looks like a hammer, feels like a hammer and does everything a hammer should do. Because of this, I’ve decided to use it as a hammer and will be hammering things with it most of the time. I haven’t tried drinking from it or using it to recieve radio broadcasts yet. I tried using it as a piece of jewellery and recieved some strange looks, and as an alarm clock it simply doesn’t work.

It hammer time!
I don't really have much to say about this, it's a hammer with a nylon head. It's weighty, and that's a good thing, and being nylon you're most likely going to be using this in situations where you are hammering something that is kind-of delicate and where a normal steel hammer would cause more damage than good.I use this for gently aligning heat-set inserts for 3D printed enclosures, I use heat inserts because they provide the best method of adding screw holes to a 3D printed enclosure, they're solid. They are made of brass and they need to be gently tapped into the first part of the hole to align them, once there I use a tool to heat and insert the insert into the plastic. The hammer feels quality, and it works like a champ.

Great tool, would definitely recommend for glazing
This makes so much difference compared to glazing windows with a rubber mallet. This Nylon hammer is the best, it’s hard enough to hit beads in that can sometimes be tough to fit but also is not hard enough to crack the beads like a normal claw hammer or leave any marks like some rubber mallets do

Very Handy
I've been a fan of Thorex hammers for a long time, very useful products. This hammer arrived with the head not quite square on the handle, I fixed this with a "tweek" in the vice, slightly disappointed. The handle is a strong plastic and the hammer face has changeable heads. Overall a good tool for not marking surfaces.

Great
Its a delight to use tools still made in the UK. I have a couple of other "thor" hammers (copper faced and hide faced) and they are great. Used them for many years. This nylon faced one was brought as I am installing a few upvc windows - and its going to be just great for tapping in the mouldings for that job.Recommend this and all other specialist Thor hammers - great range and one I will continue to buy from as jobs require.
