Q: If it doesn’t penetrate walls how does it repel the mice? Sounds like it just keeps them out of the room not out of the house

The areas protected by the PestChaser® are where mice would typically find food in your home. As the PestChaser® emits the ultrasonic frequency, it creates an unpleasant environment for the mice in those areas. The mice will then leave the area in search of more friendly areas for finding food and nesting. It is important to keep in mind, that mice do not always live or nest in walls.

Q: does this also repel insects?....centipedes?

No, this product is recommended for use only to repel mice and rats.

Q: Why do they need to be plugged into lower half of a socket?

Because the plug prongs are offset so if you plug it in to the top outlet it'll block the lower one from use. Outlets are about an inch apart, using the lower half had nothing to do with putting it "closer to the mouse activity" an inch one way or the other isn't going make any difference.

Q: Does not available to nm mean new mexico?

Ultrasonic rodent systems can not be sold directly to consumers in NM, as we discovered. However everyone we know uses them!
