I bought this grass seed in early September, to fill in small patches of my garden. Even when we have had cold night time temperatures, the new grass seems to be growing healthy and thick after a week. I always put down a thin layer of seed sowing compost first, then sow the grass seed and then a top layer of compost, which always seems to work for me. No complaints whatsoever.

This seed is amazing it started growing in 4 days and I will keep ordering this item due to thw quality.

Photo one 4th August, photo two 22nd August. Its a bit patchy but this is very dry ground under an old plum tree, so very much not ideal growing conditions. Only problem is its now making the rest of the lawn look rubbish!

Used it to seed an area which has previously been a flower bed. Been down about 10 weeks. Good but patch results.

soaked ground first, spread seed, lightly covered with fine soil, sprouted in 5 days. I kept the ground wet because we had a hot dry week, but If you have the time to keep an eye on things and not let it dry out, then you will get good results. I did read the negatives after I had ordered lol, and was wondering If I had done the right thing, even a so called groundsman advised against buying it, Well, I'm just a normal person that loves my garden, and It's working for me. It's not as clear in the pictures as you would see with your eyes. UPDATE, one week on from sowing and It's growing well. Even a couple of patches that my late dog peed on has grown. I didn't treat the patches at all, I just chucked some seed down and lightly covered with light soil.

I got lucky with the weather and had 14 days of sun and 24 degree heat, probably perfect for grass growth especially as I watered the grass morning and evening. I am in disbelief at how good this seed was, I was depressed at my huge mud patch but within 14 days I’ve got an almost perfect lawn with only a few bald spots which I’m now filling in. This seed worked well, but with the great weather I had maybe any seed would have worked, who knows.

I have no problem in recommending this product, it grew very fast and it looks great.
