Very happy with my purchase. I have other herb-filled hot/cold packs and have used them for years, but needed something a little bigger to cover my entire back and shoulders. Getting old kinda stinks sometimes. Bought this one based on several reviews and am very happy with my purchase. I do have a little trouble getting the filling evened out before laying on it, but you will run into that issue with any of this style pack. It smells heavenly and melts away the stress of the day. It's also a great bed-warmer in the wintertime. We live where it snows and on those really cold winter nights I heat this up and lay it under the blankets while I do my evening routine and when I get in bed it smells wonderful and the bed is all warm and cozy and I drift right off to sleep. Highly recommend.

originally bought at another store for a few dollars more. Loved it so much, wanted to buy another one for daughter and found on Amazon for a few dollars less. We both suffer from resltess legs and insomnia and our meds do not help much. I use thiis every night; put in microwave for 3 minutes and it stays warm for at least 3 hours. Lay part of it on my stomach when I go to bed and it is so warming and comforting that It makes it easy to go to sleep.Daughter lays it on her legs and recently hurt her back so also used it on back. She is happy with it too.Also smells nice as it is filled with herbs and lavender.It is very pliable so easy to move around to put where you want.

Nowhere does it say this product is filled with wheat. I bought this product for self care. I’m a Celiac and the last thing I need is a bag full of kryptonite. With all the wheat allergies, you’d think they’d mention this.

I've only purchased this kind of heating pad from Herbal Concepts and have owned several over the past 10+ years. If stored away properly after every use, the aroma will last for a couple years. Heats quickly and retains heat for about a good hour. The aroma is very pleasant and soothing. The backpack design helps keep it in place on back and shoulders, and can be folded & molded to fit other areas. The material is velvety soft. The only reason I gave this one 2 stars is because there are large, splinter-like, wooden shards coming out of the pad, sticking me everywhere and getting caught in my clothes and covers. I've NEVER experienced this with any of my previous heating pads. I emailed the company about this and they immediately issued a refund. I wanted to exchange it, so I will just order another one (same manufacturer & style) in hopes that this was an isolated mistake. If so, then I recommend this product with 5 stars!

I purchased this item to replace the one I had. This one is a bit smaller than my other one so it is not as effective. It does relieve my back pain . Update: I recently had surgery and have been using this as a cold pack. It provides the coverage I need and is not so cold that I can't tolerate it. I purchase this as a replaced for the one I keep repairing. I have used it several times for my back pain and have found that it is not holding the heat as well as I had expected.

I use this both for hot and cold. The weight is just perfect for anyone. I even use it for if my kids have a ear ache or a tummy ache. It's a life saver for upper and mid back pain. It also is great too for people who cramp alot during that time in the month. My whole family uses it. I just wish the scent of the herbs where a little bit more but it's ok I just add a few drops of lavender essential oil or calming after heating it up and use it that way. When used cold I put it in a gallon freezer bag and close tightly and stick in freezer for 4 or more hrs.

I purchased this for my wife. She previously had one of these but it needed to be replaced after several years. It held up fine, it was accidentally burnt with a cigarette. This particular one is super soft and has a nice herbal sent to it. Heats in the microwave and very soothing when draped along back. My wife loves this and is always using it.
