Just the perfect size for me even if I don’t think so….lol….confused? Well if you’re a fly fisherman you’ll get it. Just the perfect amount of pockets to carry what I need to carry. The top right pocket works as a drink pocket, perfect for carrying a small Gatorade or bottle of water. Three zippered pockets in front keep all your gear secure along with two small mesh pockets. The back panel has two additional zippered panels with a good amount of room, great for storing a poncho or such. Numerous Molle style attachment points perfect for zingers with your nippers, forceps and other gear. Inside of both front panels two zippered compartments for extra storage if needed. Like most of us we will stuff these pockets till they are overflowing with stuff we might but never really do need to carry along, once you get used to having a lightweight vest that keeps everything right where it’s easy to access you won’t go back to a full sized vest again. This vest is well crafted with quality stitching through out, no loose threads to be found. Fully adjustable shoulder straps with a waist belt allow the fit to be tailored to the individual. After a couple hours on the water you will still hardly even notice your wearing it. If your in the market for a lightweight fishing vest don’t pass this one by.

My husband loves this vest. He walks about a mile to a neighborhood fishing pond. He uses walking sticks and the vest holds all of his gear comfortably and leaves his hands free.

This is a very lightweight minimalist vest, perfect for the fisherman who doesn’t carry a ton of gear with him. I use it for tenkara fishing, which requires only some line, some tippet material and a few flies. I also use it when I go to a local pond to finesse fish for bass. All I need is my spinning rod, some hooks, leader material and a few soft plastics. It has enough pockets to hold the usual fishing paraphernalia, but it needs you to be single-minded in your approach that day. If you need to carry large boxes of lures or flies, this vest isn’t for you. I like that it has a dedicated water bottle pocket, and that I can carry an extra tenkara rod in a pocket on the back of the vest. All in all, this is a decent vest for the money. I’m happy with my purchase.

Its great. Lots of other reviews here to into more detail, so I wont keep repeating what they have said. But Its a fantastic vest, and for the price its even better.

Daughter uses it for carrying equipment in her profession. She LOVES it as the quality of stitching and pockets is excellent. As a lot of what she carries is expensive (lenses etc), it is good to know that everything is protected and easily accessible. Apparently it is well thought out, light and comfortable for long shoots.

Really nervous that this vest wouldn’t fit me comfortably however with the adjustable straps it fits me perfectly!! For reference I am a ladies sm-medium in tops/ vests. Love how many storage pockets there are, lots of room and even zipper on the back of the vest.Can’t wait to try it out on the rivers this summer! 10/10 recommend.
