Not transparent
The photo here may show a semi transparent emerald but that is not the case nor is the stone as dark as the photo. Overall they’re okay. One should know that the metal part on the back bends.

I knew I was getting raw emeralds yet I thought they'd look a little more like the picture darker and that the silver would be polished. The stone is much lighter and the silver came tarnished. I wanted raw but not lazy.
