Great price, great laddles.
These worked out great for some hot pot we made. I used some wood block mineral oil on them the day before just to help seal them, but I don't think it really needs it. For the price I'm very happy with what I received.

Abbott’s reviews
These things are incredible, worth every penny! My girl friend used this thing in hot mulled wine and left that spoon in there to fester for half a day and had it way to hot. This spoon didn’t even stain! Not to mention I have a horrible storage and slam these things into the draws and haven’t even dented it yet! I drop them on my tile floor all the time and not a mark! They sound like they’ll crack or explode but nope!I would like the spoon to be a little deeper but the handles grasp on to things like the monkeys at a zoo! This is almost commercial grade but the handles would have to be longer for a commercial kitchen.

So much nicer than plastic
I have been replacing all my plastic kitchenware with wood or metal. I wasn't sure how a ladle would be - would it split easily, be too small, or ridiculously expensive? Nope. These are nice quality and work very well. The handle design is nice, and they are quite sturdy.

Very nice ladles
These are good for serving up stews and soups from pots that you don't want to scratch with a metal ladle. They serve the intended purpose for ladling out stews and soups from my Staub dutch oven which has an interior that can easily scratch, as well as my porcelain lined Le Creuset pots. These will not scratch those types of surfaces. The wood is very nice but as with all wooden products, you need to treat it appropriately. As you can see from the photos, the ladle is a good size for serving up individual bowls of soup/stew. Recommend.

Great for nonstick surfaces
Love these. We've had them several weeks and they are working out fine for us. As I mentioned in answer to a question, each of the scoops holds about 1/4 cup of liquid (about 60ml for those using a more friendly measuring system). We use them confidently in nonstick cookware knowing that the wood won't possibly scratch the nonstick surface (we could have purchased silicon ladles but were more comfortable with wood). We're happy purchasers and would buy these again if we were buying gifts for others.

Great!
I ordered 4 to use for living history reenactments and all arrived in good condition. They have the natrual look ibwas hoping for. My only wish is that they would make one with a little more volume in the "bowl". But they match the description perfectly.
