ECCOMen's Mx Hiking Boot

I am happy to order Ecco shoes online knowing they are invariably of high quality, smart and hard wearing. Their sizing is consistent throughout their range, which means I don’t have to worry about their fit. These particular shoes are wonderfully supportive, have a good strong grip and are perfect for dog walking in our surrounding countryside.

I wasn't sure which size will fit me, for me it seems like half a size above my normal size fitted perfectly.I love these shoes, very stylish and comfortable, not to speak about how they protect your feet dries no matter how wet it is.5 stars!

I read in some reviews that they were not great for wide feet … like my size 10 pancakes however I went with them as have Ecco golf shoes and have found them comfortable. So I went with these and LOVE them.Comfortable and they fit fine. The laces are fine and being a lazy slipper on of trainers Im gradually getting them softened up so they slip on without loosening the laces.. The sole pattern is not what im used to but Im thinking about buying a second pair I like them so much ! A good choice methinks :)

Very comfy fit and I was looking forward to wearing them out and about, however there was an issue with one of the shoes which had a protrusion in its inner heal which made it faulty.

Ecco MX Hiking shoe.Not waterproof. They are Gortex lined, sold as waterproof and they are not.I bought these for dog walking over wet grass. I have worn other waterproof trainer style shoes and they have worked fine. The waterproof trainer style shoes I have bought to replace these Ecco shoes work fine.When I bought these Ecco shoes the weather was initially very dry so their abilities in the wet didn’t get tested properly for several weeks. Then we had some dewy mornings and I found my toes were getting wet, both shoes. (My heels were dry). I was not wading through puddles, just walking through wet grass high enough to wet the toe of the shoe. Feeling inside found that it was the upper part of the toe that was wet (inside the Gortex liner). Faulty shoes? Bad design? I don’t know.I contacted the company that I bought the shoes from, Legend Footwear, who after some back and forth refused to refund: “Unfortunately, we are unable to accept your item back for a refund nor a replacement as this issue is caused due to wear and tear of the item and is not linked to any manufacturing defect. Also, we wish we could take your shoes back for a refund. However, as per our return policy, we accept returns only if it is returned in the original condition and unworn. As it has already been used for a few days we were unable to accept your return. Hence the manufacturer and returns team rejected the request, we apologies that we could not help you in this case, and we hope you understand.”Note that “manufacturing defect” is ruled out despite no one inspecting the shoes. “Wear and tear” is cited on a six week old pair of shoes that leaked the first time they were worn in the wet. I cannot return them because they’ve been worn. How on earth are you supposed to find out that waterproof shoes aren’t waterproof without wearing them?I also emailed Ecco directly. I have not had the courtesy of a reply.Amazon’s customer protection system (A to Z guarantee) rejected my claim with no explanation.

I bought these to use, walking and hiking in a wet climate, and on the sand. First of all, these shoes are really comfortable. I have trouble with my feet and wore these for two weeks straight and no issues at all. I was on beaches, and even in the water by mistake, and they never got wet on the inside. I 100% recommend these.

Love this shoe. It’s crossover looks have both a casual feel but has plenty of high end style to give it a touch of formality as well. Very grippy on snow and ice. The only negative (small one) is that it is very stretchy material that has some give to your foot while in the shoe…in certain positions. It feels like it can fly off sometimes. But it never has.
