It's mostly about the prince
I enjoyed the first book, a young woman, Alexia, finding her powers, catching the dragon king and got this book. I had expected to learn more about Thalia, who was said to be the powerful sister. It was more about the prince that Talia ended up catching, we got very few examples of her great powers. This disappointment as it were, made me give it 4 stars .We had had several instances of Alexia regarded as powerless at home, showing us examples of her power. Thalia got her parents to speak the truth, stopped people from moving but that was about it.The prince had had a traumatic experience as a young dragon shifter and so avoided getting emotionally tangled with anyone. He did a lot of reading, sneaking off to get hold of special books and otherwise doing his duty.We got to know him as the main person, so perhaps the title could have been 'The prince who was caught?'While he was making up his mind, Talia talked with her sisters, then met another sorceress and got a warning about the future.

sneaky start to a story!
I thought that I had forgotten most of the first story ,as was reading the first chapters, before I realised this was the other sister from the last of the first stories ending! So now I was getting that these adventures were going on at the same time as Alexandria 's in the first story! then this story caught up with the first story,as she blew open the door during the wedding, where the first ended. Now we have all three sisters in the story as it continues with many twists and turns, finding the shadow of the first Enchantress, who is becoming increasingly tired of keeping her Light half in the world happy! she gives a great warning that has all of the Dragon people deciding on how to save there world or leaving it! many partner connections are made during this story and the background and past stories they share bring a lot of insight into the story!!! one of those that is hard to put down!

A light-hearted paranormal romance - wish it was LONGER!
For a short read, this was good, a little bit of everything - adventure, humor, romance & action. This was the 1st book i've read by this author. Now, i have to read book 1. What i love about this author, is the disclaimer. She lets readers know that this has adult scenarios, where it may not be appropriate for some readers, young or old. Some adult women, don't like too much cussing or sexual scenarios, such as myself.I wish more authors "warned" readers what to expect before they purchase, like some books written by Christine Feehan and the YA author, Sarah Maas. Some sexual language in books are overkill, too explicit, where sometimes i wonder - why?!? The plot would still be awesome w/o such redundancy of sexual overtones, or even the F- word. WE.GET.IT.Sometimes it's too much, where it becomes comical b/c it's SOooooo outlandish & NOT romantic, well to me it isn't. If want I porn & to be surrounded by cussing, then hell i don't need to read a romance novel, just hang out w/ a bunch of teenage males for a week or 2.

I totally love this series
But you should read this series in order . To understand what is going on. This book is about Talia the sister who was sent to the big city to hone her craft of mage better. When she gets back she finds out what happened to her sister. Talks finds out that she is more powerful than she thought, she is a sorceress. Talia goes to find her sister (who is story is in book 1)She meets Vincent who also has problems of shifting , you will need to read the book for the reason. Any way there is something breaking the wards that were set many years ago keeping the lands safe. These wards keep out evil such as orcs. But get book first you can also get a sample of the books if unsure .

To catch a prince
Enjoyable short story. Could it be longer? Yes, the potential is there, but I’m alright with the story length. Not to say I wouldn’t enjoy a longer version. Well edited - Thankfully.I’m really liking this series. I blew threw the 1st book in this series and finished this one equally as fast. Plenty of action & some hotness. This author doesn’t drown you in details. I’m eagerly awaiting the 3rd book (Please, May!!) as I want to see how the story continues to unfold for the other characters and this world. Some reviewers complained about unanswered questions, I feel that’s part of building a series. Those questions will be answered as the series builds. (Praying it’s more than 3 books) There were also complaints about the modern language, however, I’m under the impression from the story that the world was somewhat advanced prior to the Rift. Which explains that for me.

More erotica than fantasy
I was so confused at the beginning of the book that I almost gave up. I think even if the author wanted the books to be standalone, she still assumed readers would read book one first. The plot of book one didn't attract me at all.It was more of an erotica and as always these I don't expect the plot to make sense because all the characters care about is sex. This one was carefully crafted though. The book was enjoyable if you are not looking for fantasy but erotica.

Amazing Book! MUST have
I read the entire book in one sitting. It was so captivating that I found it impossible to put down. The characters are well developed and brought to life brilliantly. I found myself enthralled by the vivid scenes and conflict between good and evil, though interestingly the good has shadow and evil is mixed with light. What will the outcome be....... I'm anxious to read the next installment and find out, as I'm sure the sentiment will be shared by anyone smart enough to read these incredible books!!

A must read, couldn't put it down!
I've been dying to read Talia's story since I finished Xandrie's book, and the wait was worth it! Talia is a strong, talented, yet humble woman. She is fiercely protective of her sisters, and not afraid of a challenge. What made Talia so different from her sister Xandrie was her absolute faith in the good of those around her and her ability to endear herself to anyone she meets. That is until she meets Prince Vincent. Sparks fly, and let the snark begin, when these two meet. I loved watching them fight their attraction, then become completely immersed in it. Can't wait for book three!

Highly recommended
I hate spoilers so you won’t find one in my review. I cannot wait for Ash and Elzas’ story to be published though! May Sage makes you fall madly in love with each of her characters and all you want to do is keep reading each book she writes looking for just a tiny mention of any of them.Thank you again May for another amazing book and series!

Not as good as book one but still an okay read.
This second book in the age of gold series fell a little flat for me. With the pairing of an enchantress and a warrior dragon prince I was expecting a bit more chemistry. Saying this, the story is a decent filler leading up to what looks to be a very interesting third book.

Brilliant series
Having read both books in the series so far I can only say they are as good as anything May Sage has written in the past. I have preordered the next and will be waiting impatiently for the publication date. Well recommended.
