These are glass, attractive, not cheap looking. It is an original design and is paired easily with other items. For those of you who are eternally disappointed in the cheap junk from Amazon, this is one purchase you will not regret. The glass isn't super thick (thin actually) but it does what I wanted it for - it holds cotton balls, bath salts, and q tips. It looks great in my newly decorated bathroom.

Of course glass is fragile but while these are very attractive, the glass is super frail and thin. The cork ball does not seal air tight at all but it looks nice.
