Easily the best jarred sauce!
Whole garlic cloves. We’ve been getting this since Whole Foods was Fresh Fields!Pricey but worth it for just 2-4 people.

Tastes home made
I ordered 12 jars that came in 2 boxes. One of the boxes when opened was all broken, dried up and moldy. Was very disappointed since each box was supposed to be gift. This is a very good tasting sauce. I’ve ordered it many times in the past

The best pasta sauce on the market
I like this sauce a lot. It has a strong tomato taste. It is also highly acidic. You can use it straight out of the bottle, but I like to add a few things. I usualy add chopped onions (I saute these before adding), fresh garlic, and canned artichoke hearts. Then I let it simmer for an hour. Occassionally, we add shrimp as well (stir them in a few minutes before you finish cooking the sauce).

Garlic lover’s dream sauce
Beautiful full cloves of garlic and basil make for a superior sauce. Terrific alone or as a base to start your own sauce.

NOT THE SAME!!! SAD
Moms spaghetti sauce not only was my prior favorite, I even wrote a chapter in a book about it. The company was impressed, and a few years later when I let them know about my chapter, they shipped me a free case of sauce! Well, their sauce is what my wife bought back in 1998 and my chapter was about the high cost of it........but noting, the sauce was the most amazing, and worth every cent. This was back in the day that you mostly had Ragu on the shelf and most sauce cost $1.99; Moms cost about $5.99 then. Well, this sauce remained our favorite for nearly two decades until you couldn't find it. Another reviewer aptly notes that they changed the recipe. They changed it alright, it's totally different, and now I am deeply saddened. I can only liken it a jar containing a can of hunt's chopped tomatoes with a few whole garlic and sufficient basil leaves. It's not really saucy at all. It's mostly chopped tomatoes with no flavor. There's really no flavor. The consistency is way, way off. It's not really a sauce at all now. And beyond the non-sauce nature of the sauce, there is truly very little flavor. Mom! MOM!! MOMMMMMMM!! Please! PLEASE!! PLEASEEEEEE!!!!! change back. You had a total winner for the 20 years we had this sauce, and this was the first purchase in a few years, but we can't come back. VERY VERY VERY VERY SAD. Note, while the original Moms was on the market, I bought it all the time. EVERY time it went on sale, I bought out the store. Routinely I'd buy 10 jars at a time. When it was going off the market and was on clearance, I truly bought every single jar I could find and we babied it to enjoy it as long as possible. Maybe a jar a month.I'm sure supply costs increased and whatever other market conditions, but truly, I won't be eating it again after our last jar is gone. I don't even think I could give it away I wouldn't be happy with giving it to someone else.

They have changed the recipe and not for the better.
I have been eating this stuff for over 30 years and it was the most unique, wonderful sauce until my last order. Hardly any garlic now. More like a boring marinara with a hint of garlic and basil. Oh, granted it is better than most jarred spaghetti sauces but what gives with this stupid change? No longer available in any stores near me, I resorted to ordering on line. Bring back the original recipe. Geez!
