Popstar would be a great choice for concerned parents wondering what subscription to get for their ten-year-old kid, because unlike many celebrity news magazines (even more teen-oriented ones), Popstar is most likely the safest one out there. It covers a great deal of celebrities that aren't huge yet, and tons of stuff about favorites like Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Raven, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the cast of Harry Potter, Good Charlotte, etc. There are thousands of pinups and huge posters in each issue that will satisfy any music/TV/movie fan.Another thing I like about this magazine is that it's legnthy (each issue is 100 pagees), and there aren't any advertisements, either. The magazine has frequent exclusive interviews and pictures with celebrities that can't be found anywhere else. Additionally, Popstar covers the month's best CDs, new artists to watch out for, embarrasing moments stories, horoscopes, a bit of fashion and beauty, and more. For those who want an interesting, informational celeb magazine, Popstar would be a great choice.

With the approval of her parents, we ordered this magazine for our nine year old granddaughter who was delighted to receive it.

Got this magazine for my 12 yr old granddaughter two years ago for her birthday, and have renewed it each year. She enjoys it as it has the information she's wanting to read on her current pop stars. Sometimes they have posters included.

My daughter can't wait for this magazine to arrive. When it comes in, she disappears to her bedroom until she's reached the back cover!

My daughter loved the subscription, which I gave her as a gift. BUT...When we moved, no amount of phonecalls, emails, or other attempts to contact the publisher to change our address were ever sucessful, even now. I first used the Popstar website, and thought that was done... when weeks later there was no magazine I called their phone and left a message with the address change... a week after that they called me back, and said they had no record of ANY change of address (!), but said they'd handle it... it's now two months later and we haven't seen an issue in three months, and there is no one to contact.Very frustrating that half of my purchase is just down the toilet.

I bought this as a gift for my teenage daughter. She loves it! The delivery is timely, and so much better priced than in the stores.Great gift for a teenager. They are so hard to buy for!
