These lights are great lights. They give off bright, pure white, not warm yellowish light. I installed for added safety for my wife getting home after dark. The pir detection turns them on when she gets out of the car. Best of all, their customer service is first rate!! Had a missing part and contacted them. Within 24 hours, they had a replacement enroute and apologized for my trouble. Their attitudes are top notch and the response for service is FAST!! I will definitely put them on my preferred vendor list. Hope to do more business with them soon.

I would give these ligts 5 stars if it weren't for the brackets, which are quite flimsy. Even being careful with setting the screws, two of the brackets cracked. One was still usable because the equipment is lightweight and doesn't put much pressure on the bracket. The second cracked through the holding slide, and was unsalvageable (on a good note, there was one spare in the package). I'll have to see if I can find an alternative at the hardware store.That said, the light itself is fantastic. I am ordering more now for my back yard and for my sister's place, if that tells you anything. The light is clear and bright white, not soft or a "warm" yellowed light. That makes a difference for me. I have some vision problems and the "warm white" lights play hell with my depth perception. These lights are bright and have a decent spread, perfect for a porch, shop or driveway. The power line from the solar panel to the light is plenty long and feels solid enough that I'm not worried that the Oklahoma weather will damage it within a few months (it's been a problem with some other lighting systems). The delivery came later in the afternoon, so I only had a few hours of light to charge the solar unit. Has a bright light, however motion detection is non existent. Came in a 2 pack Set them out on deck to charge before installing. Followed instructions on pressing the button to get motion for night. Walked out on deck 1st night to let dog out and both seemed to work just fine.Next day took one of them to garden and installed on a pole. Wanted to scare off animals in garden at night. Light came on about dusk and stayed on all night. Tried trouble shooting by pressing button each day for 7 days and still came on every night about dusk and stayed on all night. The one we left sitting on the deck worked correctly during this time, so we switched them out after the 7 days, guess what, it came on at dusk and stayed on all night. Went through same 7 day button pressing with this light and never worked. Just don't understandBattery life is good because we detached solar charger and lights still came on every night and stayed on. Did this for 5 days and light never stopped coming on at night. Too bad motion detection is faulty. Just left the lights up and hope it is enough to scare critters at night.

Work great; I've got 4 of them. Some work differently than others in the same box but it is because the instructions fail at explaining how it operates. Some versions the light will not turn on when the solar panel is connected AND is getting sunlight. This gives the appearance that its broken as the light will only function during daylight with the solar panel disconnected. Some versions the light will turn on manually during the day with the solar panel connected AND is getting sunlight. I'm not sure why there is a difference but there is no need for the light during the day anyways. The best way to check if it is operating correct is at night when NO sunlight or other light source is reaching the solar panel. I deducted one star due to the lack of instructions that lead some to believe there is a defect with the solar panel connection.

I found this to be an extremely easy installation. The motion detection works better than most I have experienced, which is a lot. I have been pleasantly surprised at how well the solar system works. I had tried a different light from a different maker that was 2 times the price that did not work as well. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great solar light.

very easy to install - light and powerful it is an added value to the dark side of a backyard or security for the corner of a house that needs light without the hassle of electrical wiring. good job I am buying many more.

I could have sworn my parents told me at a younger age to never look directly into the sun. That said- I would highly suggest you not to look directly into this either! It's amazingly bright! I'm not sure how they do it, but this thing will light up nearly my entire back yard! Which isn't a small feat!

Poor design. The light sensor is on the solar panel so there is no easy way to light up a dark area like a shed during the day. The light sensor should be on the side with the light.

What a brilliant light this is. For the price I paid I was apprehensive if it would be bright but I can say it’s definitely worth more for what you pay. There are two in the pack but we only installed one. We thought we may need two to cover our drive, as it is a large area but because of the brightness we only need one. Hubby said it was very easy installation and only took 10 mins. It has great motion detection but there are different setting you can change to suit your own preference. Very pleased with my purchase.

These lights do the job. Easy to fit with supplied screws and plugs although I used my own screws which seem more robust. Plenty of cable so the light was where I needed it and the solar panel was in a better position to ‘catch’ the sun. Works really well even now we have limited sunshine. Illuminates the main area to assist with visibility. Good price for two and quick delivery. Thank you.

For the price I paid I was expecting a very bright light.very low quality light,not bright at all.nope happy with the product but installed them now but wouldn't advise anybody to purchase this product.pay the extra money for a better name and quality.very disappointed

Good set of the lights. I had similar before and decided to get this for my sister's garden. They're self charging and really bright. Has motion sensor on it. Wiring is long enough to reach the best sunny place for charge.

These solar cob lights are fantastic. They have 3 settings for brightness. They come with everything you need to fix up . . . They have a good sensor and the light is nice and crisp white. They give off plenty of light.
