Hello, You can try to detach it with a tool like this, by scraping under the rubber or any other tool with a harder and thicker blade.

Place the ribbed side toward the inside of garage..plus i didnt adhere mine to floor makes it easier to pull up and clean ..FYI

I’ve had it for over one year and driven over one bay everyday with a Ford Edge. Other two bays have a 3/4 ton truck and cj7 three or four times a week and no damage to the strip anywhere. Still glued to floor with no leaks
