Great product, just didn't fit my blender.

This is smaller than I thought it would be based on how it looks online, but that's probably my fault for not assessing it more closely. It is a nice product, solid glass, fits my base well and is a suitable replacement for our broken one.

This was great! I have a blender thSts over twenty years old.i dropped the glass jar and it broke my first thought was I would now have to replace the blender for it was really old and I didn't think I could get replacement parts.i figured I would try I went on the Amazon site plugged in the model number and the replacement part cane up on the screen. This was great the price was reasonable and you were running a special if I opened an account the shipping would be free so I did for $16.00 I did not have to replace it. I know when I need something I will be sure to shop at Amazon ! Thank you !

This is a very heavy smaller jar and may be too heavy as a replacement for a plastic one. I found that the weight really strained the motor on the unit which I originally purchased with a plastic full-sized jar. I'm hoping it won't kill the motor. Also, and very important,, the lid doesn't fit on snugly and you really have to work diligently to get it sealed. This is important since this is a smaller container and your fluids will be much closer to the top than in a regular container.

We bought our Oster 2 speed blender years ago and have been very happy with it, so much so we recommended one to my mom when she needed a new one. While at her house we noticed the new model came with a square blender jar vs the round one we had and I felt it made a more consistent frozen margarita. I also ordered a new blended but saw I could get the replacement jar for much less. It was fine on the first use but when I pulled it out a few weeks later I noticed the bushing around the blade had rusted. In 5 years that NEVER happened with the OEM Oster jar. When we put the new jar on the blender it made a terrible noise and the blade stripped from the shaft so that the blade didn't move. We swapped the blade from the OEM jar and it's been fine but basically the only part from the replacement we're using is the lid and the glass.

This works as advertised. I bought this glass blender for my wife who had broken her old one. The unit was so old that I thought we would have to buy a new one. But thankfully I found this glass replacement, it worked great. Costing a lot less money than buying a whole new unit. If you just need the glass blender consider this one. You won't be disappointed.

Well, you get what you pay for.While it works just fine, this blender replacement jar is hindered by a lid that doesn't fit quite right. You've got to press hard on the edges multiple times to get that little sucker snug. Kind of a pain in the you-know-what.And the bottom occasionally drips some kind of black sludge that requires mopping up. Yuck.So buy this if you will, but you'll probably find something better if you're willing to shell out a few bucks more.

Well made.Minor issue is when placed in the motor base, it does not sit tight.But still works great.Thanks and recommend
