The Milk Street Cookbook (5th Anniversary Edition): The Definitive Guide to the New Home Cooking---with Every Recipe from the TV Show

This is such a beautiful cookbook with so many really great interest recipes. I have one other cookbook by Milk Street and it’s nice too. But this book is very nice which has so many recipes and a lot of pictures of the recipes inside the book. This is such a big and heavy book which make some feel it’s just too much going on with only one book this is a very heavy book but that doesn’t bother me at all, this just mean there’s a lot of great recipes and information inside this cookbook.

good book. it is a cookbook/recipe book. has a lot of good recipes. shows how to make stuff with out making it harder than it is. in other words simplifies the recipe and keeps it working well. uses common cooking equipment mostly. most ingredients in recipes are easy to find. you may have to search for some stuff used here. they do have ideas as to where to find some of the hard to find ingredients. sometimes. FYI: some of the recipes might use some hard to find stuff.

I have a lot of cookbooks, and now I may have the heaviest one out there. I wish it was condensed into smaller books, maybe one book for every few years instead of this monster book. That said, I look forward to trying more new recipes out, but I believe the spine won’t be able to hold up to a book of this weight. I may destroy the book cover in order to 3-hold punch the pages and put into two separate binders. Ugh… not what I want to do with a brand new book.

As a fan of Milk Street I eagerly anticipated the arrival of this book. It met all of my expectations: diverse recipes, concise easy to follow instructions and, beautiful pictures. I have made several recipes from the show and look forward to learning more now that I have the companion book to the series.

We enjoy the recipes in this cookbook. We’ve been taking turns cooking some of the recipes during the pandemic. Recipes are well written and easy to follow. Get out of your cooking rut and try some new recipes.

This book is beautiful. It has recipes from all over the world that have been adapted to most things you already have at home. It's given week night meals a change up.
