Really Nice Starter Kit for Making Stained Glass
I gave this to my wife two years ago for Christmas after she explained she planned to do stained glass creations. She is very crafty and has not yet gone to work on this. I can only report that it looks very complete to my amateur craft eye. One day I hope to report she made beautiful stained glass with it.

Great kit with everything you need to start! omplete materials, great glass, no iron stand, but otherwise great!
Great starting kit! I was pleased to see the assortment of glass I got, and the foil wrap, flux, iron, solder, and other accessories look good. I haven't used them for a project as yet, but I am ready to go!No solder iron stand, but I still think it's a good price for good product.A few notes; though package looked disheveled upon arrival, the ten panes of glass were well-packed and crack free.A description of the colored tiles are below; also see pictures.Description key;RT: raised, bumpy textureST: slight texture, like a smooth stoneCS: clean, smooth feel; like window glass.Face: a single side of the glass tile.Transparent:* 2-purple, CS, uniform color* 1-dark green, CS, striations, swirled color* 1-clear/colorless, RT face* 1-cornflower blue, RT face, uniform color* 1-semi-transparent tile; blue, gray, and white striations; RT faceOpaque:* 1-sapphire-blue and white striped, ST face* 1- green and white striped, ST face* 1- orange and red swirl, CS* 1- violet, blue, gray, mauve swirl, CS

Love it!
Has everything you need! The box looked a little rugged but everything came perfectly.

Decent starter but overpriced
This is a good beginner kit but if you research a bit about what you need you can go to hobby lobby and get the same exact stuff plus more for cheaper. Also the pieces of glass are small so being a beginner you’re going to waste a lot of it

The Weller SPG80L Marksman 80 Watt Stained Glass Soldering Iron only got hot 3 times.
The Weller SPG80L Marksman 80 Watt Stained Glass Soldering Iron which was part of the Stained Glass Start-Up Kit failed (will no longer get hot) after three uses.
