Raw Probiotics Ultimate Care-100 Billion Garden of Life 30 VCaps (30 x 3 )

Let me start by stating that I absolutely love this brand. I take the Raw Code women's multivitamin and they are great. I recently finished a course of antibiotics for a root canal and I wanted to do a course of probiotics to help cleanse my stomach. I have done a course of the Dr. Mercola probiotics 3 years ago and I could feel them working right away and I was very pleased with the quality. But since then I have switched to the Garden of Life brand so I figured I'd try theirs.Just like a lot of other reviewers said, the item arrived in normal not cooled packaging even though it clearly states that it should be stored at less than 71 degrees. Silly me, I figured I should try it anyways and if it doesn't work, I'll just send them back. Little did I know that when the probiotics die in the heat, they release mold which can cause severe allergic reactions. I took them for 3 days, felt nothing and sent them back on day 4. By day 5, I woke up with two big welts on each side of my hip (see pic). They were red, itchy and warm to the touch. As I was waiting to be seen in the ER, my left foot (toes and arch underneath) also swelled up (see pic). They rushed me in, and as they were putting steroids, Benadryl etc through the IV, my right thumb swelled too. Long story short, I'm now on a 5 days steroid and antihistamine regimen.I wanted to warn everyone of the very real side effects of ingesting contaminated or dead probiotics. Amazon should take their packaging guidelines more seriously in order to avoid getting their customers sick.

Best probiotic that I have found on the market. I went out of town and forgot to bring it with me and my digestive system was not happy. Once I started taking it again my tummy felt much better. Also I have seen a dramatic improvement in my immune system since beginning these over a couple of years ago. My doctor recommended a good probiotic and gave me specific parameters. These are way above the recommended minimums that the doctor gave me. I will never stop using these!

The reviews on these were fantastic so I bought 3 months worth. (FYI: I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and use a lot of high fiber each day) After 3 weeks with little success, I started taking 2 a day which made all the difference in the world but I cannot afford to take 2 a day so I will have to try another Raw Probiotic. I use other Garden of Life products and they are great.

We regret only that it is cheaper (per bottle) to buy a pair than three. Sad marketing, but it is our fault for not looking more closely at the prices. Otherwise, the product is great. We purchase it regularly.

I think we all need probiotics, are foods and are eating habits are getting worse in this century. not like are great great grand parents foods. this pro biotic was recommended to me from a nurse who does a lot of studying about each ingredient she puts in her body. so far so good

I can thank Garden of Life for helping me get off Nexium. I'm older and now use these every day, along with the enzymes. No more digestive problems on an ongoing basis. Thanks GoL.

Love the product but it is supposed to be refrigerated and it wasn't shipped cold.

Seems good although expensive ( similar to other similar products on the market). Am still waiting to see benefits, just started taking it but I should think it will work.
