3 Year review and Over 5000 miles
Like the title says, over 5,000 miles and it was on for 3 years. I was skeptical of not having a crush washer, but it didn't take any effort to loosen. Happy to see the magnet was free from having any shavings on my 2009 G37. I actually forgot about the magnet and after knowing that I had fully unscrewed it, I was wondering what was holding it (I was doing it blind). When I adjusted myself to see it, I had to laugh because I had it completely removed but the magnet stuck to the outside of the pan right near the hole, haha. Extremely strong magnet. I do plumbing and recently dropped a johnny bolt down the drain, but the typical stick magnets wouldn't lift it out. I may buy one of these to mod my retrieving wand! Perfectly fine for the next 3 years, or 5000 miles!

Very strong magnet.
You really have to aim that little plug well when you reinstall it after an oil change, cause it'll grab the side of your oil pan. Very good quality plug.Installed in 2011 Titan.

GReddy Magnetic Oil Drain Plug 12mm x 1.25 w/very strong neodymium magnet and reusable aluminum washer
Excellent drain plug upgrade for my 370z. It comes with an aluminum washer which is reusable, just be sure it's clean on both sides before tightening it and it should last as long as you own your car. It's magnetic pull with the neodymium magnet is stronger than most other drain plugs and even though most engines are made of aluminum these days which is non-magnetic, it still can't hurt to use this just in case any foreign metallic particles are introduced to the oil, say from pistons, other internals wearing out, the guy you pay to change your oil who has some metal shavings on his hands while he's filling up your oil, or any other scenario that could contaminate your oil which is actually more common than you'd expect. Swapped to this drain plug during 1st oil change with Royal Purple 5w30 oil and a Royal Purple 10-2867 filter. The 10-2876 is the one that all fitting guides say to use in most Nissan cars, but the 10-2867 also fits and is about 1 inch longer and contains a larger surface area of filter material so more oil can flow through it per minute and it will hold more particles before it clogs up compared to the shorter one. If you are using a remote oil cooler w/sandwich plate where the filter normally screws in, the longer filter may not fit so I'd suggest only using the longer filter on a stock setup until you measure exactly how much clearance you have between the filter and surrounding swaybar/frame/tubes/etc.

It leaks
Used it through 2 oil changes, both of them the pan was wet all around the plug.

Awesome little magnetic drain plug that i used to replace ...
Awesome little magnetic drain plug that i used to replace my OEM plug on my car as it was rusty and in need of a change. This is such a sturdy and pretty plug and it helps that it is magnetic to help capture any metal shavings or debris caught in the oil. Once you are draining your oil, any contamination will be taken out with the oil and any metal shavings that were circulating in your engine will be caught by the magnet tip. Sturdy and well built!
