Maybe I received a bad set of locks and keys, but I did not have the same success with this lock as others have. I had somewhat of a difficult time inserting the cable into the lock properly for the key to actually turn. Also, when I was done at the range over the weekend and trying to lock up my firearm, as I was trying to jimmy the cable into the lock, the key bent as I turned it! I expected a little more from a product with otherwise really positive reviews. Since I'm out of the return period, I guess these will have to do until I can find something better.

Trigger guards are a problem to fit and may not prevent a shotgun from discharging, if dropped. The weapon cannot functin with this product. High quality.

Purchased 2 sets of locks. Actually all 4 locks are keyed for the same key.

The best part about these is the keyhole. I am able to insert, remove, and turn the key without any issues. The same can't be said about other locks.
