Merrell sizing is the same in different products. I found an 11 vapor glove and an 11 moab flight both fit correctly.

Q: How much do they weigh for both shoes together (Size 11)

It can’t be any more than an ounce or two. The material is very thin yet durable. I highly recommend these if you’re getting into barefoot shoes.

Q: Can you add an orthotic to the shoe custom or otherwise?

Why! That would defeat the purpose of the shoe design in the first place. Find a shoe that has a thicker sole and you will be fine. The answer to the question is it would depend on the insert.
