SUPER EXTRA THICK CREAM, WILL BUY AGAIN (AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN!)

A good double cream.
Another good product from Amazon's own range.This is a double cream, that is already quite thick when you open the pot.However, like many of these pre-thickened creams. If you try to whisk them to be really thick, they first go through a phase where the cream will turn thin. Thin like single cream. I have no idea why they do this. You then have to whisk good and hard for a good 5 minutes before the cream will start to thicken as you would expect from ordinary double cream.It does take a while, and because of this, I recommend you use an electric whisk. A hand whisk really will take a long time and an awful lot of effort.Ingredients wise, it's just pasteurised milk. Nothing else.Use by date is usually around 6 days after you've bought.Overall, this is a good value cream, that whisks up good and stiff when you put the effort in.I hope you found this review helpful.

I have tried all the extra thick creams but I must say this is the best so far. It's now been added to my routine shop but it's a shame not available all the time on Amazon fresh..
