The 6155 has been my go-to toilet paper for the past 20 years. It is a good compromise between quality, value, firmness, and comfort. All other products that I have tried either come in smaller rolls, cost more, are not firm enough resulting in a mess, or are too scratchy. I order 2 cases once per year for a family of 4 (yes, there might be a paper waster or 2 in this group). It takes a bit of research each time to find the best deal. I end up ordering from a different source every time because prices fluctuate, sometimes directly from janitorial supply companies, this time from Amazon. Prices have gone up over the past couple of years (Covid), but I was still happy with the deal and would order again at this price point.

It's hard to find a toilet paper that hasn't been hit by shrinkflation, but this version of Boardwalk fits the bill...or rather the roll holders we have has built in for years that suddenly began to fail to function as other rolls shrank in width. We noticed "old fashioned" wide rolls in our travels and hunted down a source. Now, because we had to buy 96 rolls, we won't have to buy toilet paper for a looooong time. Like carrying an umbrella to prevent rain, perhaps our tush tissue stash will stave off another pandemic. As for the quality of the tissue, it's perfectly adequate at performing its function comfortably, easily dissolves, making it easy on the septic system after flushing. Hope Boardwalk still makes this size when we need another case someday.

BOARDWALK WENT DOWN THE DRAIN. Cut their quality down, the paper gets thinner and thinner, too crumbly, sticks all over you. Perforation issues. Cheap. Too much glue on the start and end, you'll lose 3% of the roll just getting it started (and finished).Classic story, outsource, lower the quality, hire people who don't care, and get extra cash, using up your reputation until even the most loyal have walked away.Was buying Boardwalk 6155 for the last 7 years approx. Used to rate it 5 stars, I was the most famous reviewer for this product, people stopped me on the street, asking for my autograph! But I'm done, had enough of low quality.BUT NO WORRIES STILL GONNA FIND OUR TOILET PAPER PARADISE: WINDSOFT 2200. 4.5" x 4.5" YEAH !!! Don't Rip Me Off. AND 500 sheets per roll, That means each roll is 188 feet long!! YEAH! I've moved on to Windsoft. Nice that it's 4.5" wide but very hard to get the first sheet un-stuck so the roll will start feeding. Then the plys separate too easily and besides that there are small gouges and little rips in many of the sheets. You're better off buying Costco Marathon tissue which is also 4.5 inches wide and much better quality even with the 5% non member surcharge.

This is an excellent product,not narrow like most all paper out there,strong,not gooey soft when wet,absorbent for the task.the way paper used to be years ago.no frills,no nonsense,does the job.too bad it doesn’t come in a strong box,and in smaller quantities.96 rolls is a challenge to store in our small home with limited storage,we ended up giving half to a neighbor.NOTE;;;;; THE BOX IT ARRIVES IN LITERALLY CANNOT HANDLE THE WEIGHT AND BULK OF THE ROLLS,BE PREPARED. We have had this paper for a month now and it is AMAZING how much longer a roll lasts over the store brands sold.yes you will have to double it over for use but it STILL goes on and on and on........you will replace the roll much less often.yes it is not soft as charminm or northern but if all is well health wise this paper will do the job hygenically

This was my third and final purchase of Boardwalk Boardwalk Two-Ply Toilet Tissue (BWK6155) because the quality has plummeted. The two plies are now super-thin and the embossed pattern is pressed flat, resulting in a one-ply effect. There are odd roller imprints that further flatten the sheets and the sheets tear unevenly and separate (see pic). The embossed pattern has changed, too, indicating that the manufacturer has changed—for the worse. About 2 feet of paper is doubled over and scrunched around the core, which falls off in a mess when you get near the end of the roll. The paper disintegrates into a pulpy mess when wet, so it can’t be used to wipe frass off the toilet seat or a wee baby’s bottom. Each roll’s wrapper was mis-applied and only covered part of the roll, so that dirt and moisture wicked through the gaps in the top and bottom of the carton, into about 2 dozen rolls. I now keep a spare roll of normal, nice-quality TP in each bathroom for quests while I burn through the rest of this case of crap. Shame on you, Boardwalk.
