RV318C Rv Metal Flange City Water Fill Flush Mount with Back Flow Preventer

Excellent, 5 star product! Replaced my corroded pot metal RV city water flange with the horrible plastic chrome painted gasket. The old one leaked like a sieve due to cheap plastic parts. Plastic on a high pressure water system, what cheapos! This one is all brass on functional parts, with a nice steel plate which is the part that connects to the rv side. It has 3 screw holes (use #8 1/2 inch stainless steel screws), but no screws provided, which is fine since I only use stainless steel screws to prevent rusting anyway.Connection to a hose is easy and NO LEAKS. I also tested this with the brass water pressure gauge I bought on Amazon, and also no leaks there. This has a plastic white cap to cover the opening, and looks very nice on RV with silver plate mounting and white cap. Reasonable price, good design, and excellent functionality. Strongly recommend.

This is a great item for the price, but keep in mind you get what you pay for. The mounting plate is stamped aluminum with no means of removal. The inlet itself is all brass with a backflow preventer built in internally. Overall, the quality of the fitting is good and should last a long time. I subtracted one star for not being able to remove the aluminum mounting plate to make a custom installation. While the aluminum plate would not hold up in a salt water enviorment, I am installing on a RV where this is not an issue. I would buy again.

Previous reviews are correct. This is a different product. It has three holes, ribs on the face of the plate, and a lighter finish. It works fine, but required much more work for a clean installation. If the product change had been unexpected, it'd get two stars. I gave it three, because how hard is it to use the correct photo?

Item is not as pictured but will work. Solid item may even be a better grip with the plastic knob handle. It does have the same brass threads on inside of plastic. 4 was given due to not being as shown. Packaged well and shipped quick

The picture looks like the USA made version I had over ten years ago. What I received is a Chinese made product with a push in plug / cap, not a threaded one like in the picture. It has three screw mounting holes that will fit up to a #10 screw. The quality is a little better than typical China made stuff. It works as expected, I tested before installing and had no leaks. I wanted a durable product for the most used hook-up on my camper, so I opted for a metal base inlet. This product does have female threads on the inside, so a simple adapter from the local hardware store made the connection solid and still had room to fit behind the metal skin of the camper.I'd suggest this over other plastic base inlets, if color matching isnt an issue, nickle plating is fine.Mark

Installed this on our park model and a short time later we saw water leaking at the valve. Had to take it apart again and saw it has a pinhole in the middle of the brass. Don’t buy this! The brass is stamped ‘made in China’ despite the packaging saying US made. This failure caused a lot of water to leak into the belly of our park model.
