Wacoal Women's Body By Wacoal Unlined Front Close Underwire Racerback Bra

Over a decade purchaser
I have been a fan of this bra for about 10yrs.The 34DD fits perfect and there is no strap slipping, or annoyance to the front closure most likely due to the racer back. NOTE: there is no padding but the cotton softness makes this the perfect T-Shirt bra but keep in mind if it’s cold there will be nippage.I own on every color imaginable and hope Wacoal never stops making this style!

The bra I started wearing all the time
I bought 2 of these about 4 years ago to use for low-impact sports (e.g. hiking, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, yoga) and for use with sleeveless shirts since it's a racer-back. What ended up happening is that it is so comfortable and so unexpectedly flattering, that I ended up wearing them all the time. After 3 years, the black one started to wear out. I kept wearing it anyway because it's such a great bra. Finally, holes in it. This is understandable given how much I wore it and just threw it in the washing machine constantly probably at least 1/week for years!!!! Finally, after 4 years, I bought another one (in black) and threw away my old black one. It's rare for me to actually seek out a previously purchased bra and re-order it. This one is worth it. Probably the best, most versatile bra I've ever purchased/worn.

A Fave.
One of my favorite bras, this is the second time I've purchased one. Be aware that the band on this model runs small, so I'd strongly suggest going up a band size and down a cup size - it's a shame Wacoal doesn't make this clear in the description. I'm a 32DDD, so the 34DD fit me perfectly. Granted, the first time I tried it on, before adjusting the straps, it was quite snug, but the elastic quickly adjusted to my body and it feels great (you do want a bra to be snug in the band, otherwise it will offer no support). It doesn't offer the structure and support of heavier, more expensive bras, but I don't mind that so much as it's intended to be a light, airy bra, comfortable in warm weather. The fabric is indeed thin but still sturdy, and holds me in well enough. I wouldn't wear this bra to a nice restaurant under a nice dress, but it's great for everyday, casual use.Unfortunately it won't work with every single racer backed top. It's so comfortable however, you'll be coming up with excuses to wear it. During the summer you can bet I'm wearing this bra most days.

Really like, comfortable and non slipping off shoulders
I ordered this with some hesitancy as I've had breast surgery and am different size cups. I also have the problem with bras slipping off my shoulder to the point I don't want to wear a bra at all. This bra was quite surprising. I wish they had this design in a padded version however, I am quite happy with the comfort and feel especially for an underwire. I ordered padded inserts to balance the girls out but I am thrilled that there is no slipping off my shoulders as this drives me CRAZY!!! I hate to have to readjust the shoulder straps on a regular basis and with this design I do not have to do this. I was also worried that because of the placement of the straps I would have them show near my neckline with some of my tops. I haven't had an issue with this at all. The bra is very comfortable and I am glad I finally found one that fits well and comfortably! Ordering 2 more!!

The best
Yall I have been searching and searching since I had a baby 1.5 years ago…for a bad that holds the girls up and does not make me look saggy and old. And this is it. Granted, it’s not your wireless bralette that is so comfy but it’s not uncomfortable and give the utmost support and natural shape. Will be buying in all colors.

Pros and cons, given the price
First let me say that buying this bra at all was a compromise. I've been wearing an extremely comfortable (Warners) front close, NON-padded, traditional back bra with strap adjustment in the front for decades. But of course it was discontinued and no bra lasts forever. So now I'm on an endless search for something remotely comparable.Which brings us to this Wacoal. On the negative side (for me), it's a racer-back, which I find very uncomfortable (it feels like I'm wearing a harness) but I may eventually get used to that. The strap adjustment is in the back, which means that in order to adjust it I have to undress and take it off instead of simply reaching under my top and fix it unobtrusively. Why design a bra this way?? The tag is scratchy but that would probably stop after a few washes. The straps themselves are the worst part. There are two places in the front where the material transitions and both of them create a bulge and irritate my skin. The one at the very top of the strap is particularly bothersome, as it's thick and actually bulges in two places itself. Again, I'm hopeful that with some washing this might resolve but not sure I want to take the chance because this is a VERY expensive bra and to me this is a serious design flaw.On the plus side, it's very easy to open and close. It fits well and it provides decent (not terrific) support. And I don't notice the underwire at all. Finally, NO PADDING! If you're looking for a bra that will conceal what's under it on cold days, this ain't it. For me, that's not a problem and I can't stand the heat of foam, not to mention that with even lightly molded bras if your anatomy doesn't exactly match the shape of the cup there are bound to be gaps, bulges and/or shifts. I totally understand why padding is indispensible for some women. But it is almost impossible to find a front close bra without it these days. So to me this is a big plus.I'm giving this bra three stars because some of the things that I consider negative (e.g., racer-back) are a plus for others. And vice versa (i.e., lack of padding). With the exception of the strap problem, it seems to be well made and a step in the right direction. Better than anything else I've found so far but it's a lot of money to lay out for a compromise. I'll keep looking.

The Best!
This underwire bra is the best I’ve ever bought! The racer back is a great feature as the straps don’t slide down and the back band is supportive for my back and helps with my posture. I love that it’s not padded so doesn’t add any bulk and gives a natural lift and separation. The front closure is also very helpful as I have back pain and find back hook and eye clasps infuriating.

My very favourite bra now!!
Fits so perfectly, easy on and off with front closure, sturdy while being very light and pretty, racer-back style for all those women who, like me, have narrow shoulders. The best part - I get perfect support, without actually ever noticing the bra I'm wearing!!
