Q: Assembled it per instruction, pulled tab on back of stops sign, stop sign does not flash when hit by car bumper. possible causes of this?

One of mine did the same. The battery does not last long, therefore, my other no longer blinks. The stop sign serves the purpose as when you bump it the pole moves.

What’s the problem about the extra set? It’s either you keep it or send it back. Did you get billed for the extras ?

Q: How tall are theitems when assembled?

The red stop flashing portion starts at approximately 50" and is about 4" high. I have an SUV so I had to tape the base to a cardboard box to get more height. These are pretty flimsy, but they are doing the job. I had to replace the batteries in one unit shortly after I put it into service, but both are working fine.
