Lid cannot be cleaned. Bottle becomes moldy.
After only two months of use, this water bottle contains mold. The lid of the water bottle separates from the bottle itself, but the lid is large and does not screw open or come apart, preventing you from properly cleaning the inside of the lid, which is open and does get dirty. I wish I had never bought this item. As insult to injury, the seller has been unresponsive to my emails (Amazon says to wait 2 days, I've waited 8). I would not recommend purchasing this item.
