These cadet caps were advertised as 100% cotton: "Comfortable material: our adjustable flat caps are made of cotton material, which is soft, breathable and comfortable to wear, lightweight and convenient to carry around, they are durable and washable, not easy to fade or deform, suitable for your daily and long-term wearing"However, they are in fact 100% polyester, small and not at all comfortable. I suppose I should have known that such a cheap price for 3 caps was not likely to be of good quality, but I didn't expect to see such a false advertisement.

False advertising. The brim is not 2.3 inches it is 2.8 inches. Do not buy if you want a short brim.

I have to admit, I was a little taken aback to see how thin and light these hats are, but when I put one on and fitted it, it felt good and looked good. I've been wearing military style caps for years, and the heavier guage fabric can be hot and sweaty in the heat of summer. These hats feel light and comfortable. I can't speak to the durability, but for the price, I don't care if they turn out to be somewhat disposable. I burn through hats as it is. I spend a lot of time in the sun and they get sun-bleached and nasty-looking after a few months anyway. I feel much better throwing away a $6 hat than one that cost $15 - $20. Not sure what all the negative reviewers were expecting for six bucks.By the way, for all the people who were complaining about the strap hanging loose; just tuck it into the opening where the other strap comes out. It takes less than 10 seconds of your time... Certainly less time than it took to complain about it.
