No creo que dure mucho, mejor invertir en uno de metal, por económico decidí comprarlo pero es muy frágil, si lo usas solo en escritorio posiblemente sobreviva pero si lo sacas a campo no creo dure mucho, hace sentir que la medida es imprecisa pero no lo es, de hecho si es preciso.

I've used stainless calipers for years so these feel very light and a little flimsy by comparison. But they work well and the price makes them a consumable (always handy when used on a running lathe). The only two things missing are a fractional inch mode (metric and decimal inch only) and no locking screw. But for price there's little room to grumble.

This was on sale for $6.50 when I purchased. It's appearance is not that of a high quality precision instrument, being mostly plastic, but it works remarkable well for simple measurements. It reports measurements in 0.01 in or 0.1 mm increments to which it seems to be accurate, It comes on and zeroes automatically when opened and shuts off automatically. It came with an extra battery. If your needs are just to get a better read than a ruler or measuring scale then I would highly recommend this. For machine shop precison, no.

I'm using it for 1-2mm size and larger. For the price, it works.

You want the all-metal one for its rigidity, but this one works well with a little bit of care.
