Currently using this for crypto mining, but plan to use for an electric car in the future. My only problem was getting the right cover for this. Easiest to buy the one listed with this product.

This is a total piece of garbage. I tried to tighten the terminal screws to 25 in-lbs as specified with a torque driver, and every terminal except the ground broke. Further tightening made the front of the housing separate from the back.Another problem is that I was using aluminum #4 wire (which it is rated for, and is the maximum), and the the terminals didn't have a way to contain the aluminum as it was compressed. It just squeezed out into the plastic housing because the terminals are open on the sides inside the housing. Only about half the strands remained under the screw.I can't believe they rate this for 60 amps and it's UL listed. There's no way I would trust it with that much current.I waited too long to start this project and now I can't even return it anymore. Wasted $55. I'm going to try Eaton or Hubbell. From pictures, they look to have much better quality.

Well made and easy to wire

Pricey little thing!! Going to install it into the garage wall for charging capabilities for electric car as it is a 60amp plug. Will see how it goes once installed and will update the review.See pictures for dimensions for better idea of the actual size as the product description does not do a very good job.

As described... 120v/250v 60 amp receptacles are different than 250v 3 phase ones, make sure you get the right one for your application!
