PYREX 1L Narrow Mouth Erlenmeyer Flasks with Heavy Duty Rim, Ea

Used as props for a kids Science birthday party. Put fruit juice in it.

I bought this to use for yeast starters in my home brewing activities. The flask is nice, thick glass. It seems well made and has stood up to several yeast starter cultures already. I bought it to replace a similar flask that cracked when it fell on its side on the kitchen counter (it didn't even fall that hard...so I was really disappointed). I think the other flask was an inferior brand, so this time I decided to go with a good genuine Pyrex one. So far, I'm very happy with it. It's a good size and works well. I've used it successfully with a magnetic stirrer, too, despite its thickness.

Top quality glass. Thick rim. I got this for mixing darkroom chemicals in batches of 500 to 1000ml. I can swirl it to mix before pouring it into my developer tank. Mouth is large enough to fit a cleaning brush into. Measurements are easily readable.

It's Pyrex...it's super good quality, what else is there to say? Using it to make yeast starters for brewing.

I was impressed to see that this is a true "PYREX" Made in Germany flask of lab quality. My flask also looked brand new. There are no imperfections, cracks, or bubbles in the glass and the rim is very thick. I have no worries about using this over a gas flame, it should hold up to lots of use unlike cheaper flasks that are made in China.
