To replace my broken Weber BBQ light I tried the BBQ4U Grill Light. The first thing I noticed was the light had been previously opened and presumably returned. This concerned me enough to convince me to use my own batteries to test it out rather than the packaged ones. While mounting the light on my Weber Genesis grill, I noticed that the light kept turning on, due to an amazingly sensitive on off switch. Once I got it mounted I realized there was no way to handle mount it in a place that was both usable and that allowed the top to be closed. I also realized that the light would be very vulnerable to getting wet, since I do not cover the grill after each use, nor can I put my built in grill out of the rain.The primary problem is there is no way to mount this light that works appropriately for use. This is not the fault of the light, but you need to consider whether it can work for your grill. It is big and bulky, so it may not fit. I guess I'll buy another Weber grill light.

This works well and gives good light. The drawback is if you have a grill handle that is not round (ex. oval) it will only fit on one way. On my Char Broil, it needs to be moved to close the grill or it hits the dials or ignitor button on the front panel, so it needs to be turned everytime you close the grill. Also, if you have a cover, it is just one more thing to have to go over.

Mounted to the big green egg handle, raise the lid and it lights up your grille. The only thing I don't like is the 3 speed touch switch, as you will use high beam only. A good light for the bucks!

Cheap. Broke in just a few days

I was really disappointed in this product. The green and white box that the light came in was severely damaged and had been opened. I was going to give this as a gift but now I don't think that I can.

Brighter bbq ever!

The Barbecue grill light is a great product to use when cooking out at night . The light is very bright and easy to install and has a push button on off switch . The grill light can be used for camping and other jobs around the house . The light is bright enough to allow you to see your grill and items on the grill with out needing a large outdoor light. The grill light came with a mini screwdriver, 3 AA batteries and a pretty green cleaning cloth . The light is very bright and you can adjust with three different levels of brightness. A great light to take with me to the beach or a cookout pretty unique . I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review .
