Emergency Phone DIALER -NO Monthly FEES- 911 Life LINE Alert Medical System

The description of this is at the least deceaiving. I was under the impression that this would be a standalone solution, but it needs a landline to work. I was expecting a wireless solution that would connect to a smartphone, but that is not the case. It does not even use a bluetooth, but a 2.4hz wireless dedicated connection.

The setup is not what I thought it would be but it didn't take long to figure out. I got this for my sister-in-law who lives next door and has medical issues. I put my home phone in first and then my cell. If I don't answer one of these, the phone dials 911. I know it works because she accidentally pushed the button. My house phone rang with the words: You have an emergency call, to accept press 1.

I'm unable to figure it out. The phone is too complicated and unpredictable. It was a waste of money.

The signal from the pendant was iffy. Worked sometimes and not others with a 15 foot range. Finally the unit did not respond to the program button. The unit is being returned.

Had to return, thought, from this pic, that this was a stand alone. When it came, it was a whole new telephone system!
